Find that this one of the most useful tools I have used and I have trialed a few. Easy to use great for coordinating support. Fast Refresh. I could go on. Highly recommend for business and leisure
No credits I don't seem to be getting any Loc8 credits. My credits are always 0 and never renew at the end of the day. Any ideas? If I clear data cache or reinstall app I have 20 credits on first opening but if I restart the app it goes straight to zero. Version 3.0 on Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, Android 5.1.1
Absolutely Brilliant. .. This is a free app which allows you to get your postcode, or indeed a postcode for anywhere you are with your phone. So quick and easy to use. No more spending ages on phone giving directions, just give the courier/friend/emergency services your Loc8 Code and they will get to you without a problem. So many uses it's amazing, brilliant 'must have' app. We use it all the time for deliveries, now when we have a new driver it's no problem that he doesn't know where our customers live because we have loc8 codes.
wallies Totall wallies, yes wallies. Ok you will be asking why? Easy, cos I'm a supper bright fecker but havant a sodding clue about wheels except when I replace at exorbitant price. Now if these guys are able to fix my muddy bloter then they ort tobe called up to gods holly land above. I have been flogged of by many fast wackers and am going out on a lim to say they are the best. So call in and stop bitching. Good luck, God Bless, Hoppie.
Multiple Force Close on 4.4.4 Never actually found my location, cannot get beyond Waiting for Satellites message. Failed attempts always end with a force close. Map interaction is too limited, should be able to tap a pin to any location and receive the cords. Should not display Save Favourite widget before location has been determined. Also a small confirmation that a favourite location was saved successfully would help. Had to rip it out, does not work on my device while other loc8 apps function very well for me.
Ok so I downloaded the app. I am new to a smart phone. I have downloaded the app and opened it. But now I cannot actually do much with it except toggle between Map view and Satellite view. I can get to google maps with the blue arrow symbol, and I can drop in a pointer. But I cannot find how to save that identified location (where I dropped the pin) either as co-ordinates or as a loc8 code. in practical terms the two things I am expecting to do are A) Ideally I want somehow to get that point into my garmin satnav to get me to it. Or B) I want to send the identified location to someone else so that they can get there too. It sounds stupid, but basically I have an app but haven't got a clue what I can do with it, nor how to get it to do it when I want to try something it can do !! The phone simply makes underwater noises as I touch it up all over the place and it circulates around achieving very little !! #techno dinosaur ? The website is SO much easier to get around !
