Awesome but needs an important feature The graphics are as awesome as ever but I wish it also has that feature that instantly makes the verse of the day as the device's screensaver/startup image. This is important to me because I use it as a devotion springboard. I meditate on the verse with the art then move on to the greater.scripture passage to meditate deeper. I loved the windows 8 app version this, that's why I wanted it on my phone. I'm just a tad disappointed it doesn't have the feature that I found most useful. PLEASE PLEASE UPDATE! ☺
I actually love this resource. I have it on my Samsung s6, my windows 10 computer, and roku device, but nothing is streaming or loading. Are you having maintenance this weekend? I will go ahead and wait a little and edit my rating. I thought maybe my computer with the windows platform might be an issue, but then when my roku device also did not work, just trying to load this app... forever. I am thinking maybe something on Bible screens end?
Bible Screen I really enjoy this app! It is a wonderfully creative way of reminding me, each time I look at my tablet screen, that there is nothing more important than giving God and His word first place in my life. To ensure that this beautiful reminder is before me every time I look at my computer, I am also installing the app on my laptop. Thanks, Faithlife!
Share Button = Install I would like to share the images as JPEG or GIF files, not a link to the general website prompting them to install the app or regularly visit the site. I understand the app developers want more visits and installations, but this turns off some users. A link to specific image would be a better touch if the coders insisted on using a link instead of sending an actual multimedia message. If I wanted my friends to install the app, then I would do so.
I wish it would work. It crashes on startup and won't run. It's too bad as it looked like something I really needed on my phone. Can you please fix it? Giving 3 stars as everything Faithlife does helps improve the quality of our spiritual life. I am hoping for a fix soon.
Good ... But Set as daydream and forgot t,o lock screen while charging in car. In 3 hours it ate 1.2 GB of data. This is a symptom of the real issue which is that it does not seem to work offline because it doesn't cache. There is no valid reason to not store at least some images.
- OutOfMemory crashes
- Crash at startup on some devices whose locale is not set
- Daydream crash on some 4.4 devices that don't support video playback
- Daydream exiting without error message if the daydream couldn't be played
- Rare crash when locating the video stream
- Rare crash in the Wallpaper view
