I am revising my review... You just need to be online when loading the app. Afterwards, once the data load is completed, you may put your phone offline. The package download seems to occur only when your initial download experienced issues. So far, when I load the app, it no longer prompts me to download "candlepoint2"
Great app, could use a little work (like another reviewer said, swiping to go between cards) and it seems to be missing a mission-based fragment, as well.
Ideal tool to accompany game
The app has great potential. There are some things that need to be implemented. The ability to swipe between cards should be implemented. There is already a button to flip the cards, swiping should change the card not flip it over. We shouldn't need to go back to the list of cards to read through them. There are UI elements that are part of Android that work better but the app has chosen to implement custom things that are more difficult to use. Also forced portrait mode on a tablet is really unacceptable. Update: There seems to be a timeout on the image downloads. If I'm on my slow home connection I can watch the disputed just stop around 60% which is about 5 minutes. It seems they think if a segment isn't finished in 5 minutes there's an issue and they jump to the next. It needs to be realized that some people are still stuck with 3Mb/sec or slower. If I connect to a faster network the download finishes and I have all my card images.
