About this app

This app allows you to read and write Creality compatible MIFARE Classic 1k RFID tags, allowing you to use the RFID features of the Creality K2 Plus printers and CFS with any brand of filament. Simply create 2 tags for each roll of filament (one on each side) and use as you would Creality RFID Filament.

The app can now read and write encrypted tags so you can re-spool and reuse your Creality spools and tags for any filament!

Note: These tags might not work the same as Creality tags, and Creality can remove the compatibility at any time.

This app is a fork of the MIFARE Classic Tool by Ikarus23 - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.syss.MifareClassicTool&hl=en_US

Great app, thank you! A user on FB had problems with the printer not auto switching between the same rfid'ed tagged spools. I was noticing, in the klipper logs it indicates as 'vendor unknown' and I wonder if that is related. Maybe the color setup is causing it, as the crealiy tags would store red as '0FF0000' but with the app it is '#ff0000'. Could this be changed to match the creality values? Also if I use 0 as the first character the app's color swatch does not update. Amazing app!

Thank you for this info! I haven't done a ton of investigating in the details on how the printer reads the tags, I was just focused on getting the app out there for others to play around with, so I'm happy to hear feedback on what can be changed in the tag format to provide better compatibility.

Seems to work well enough and is much appreciated! Developer, can you please add in the ability to keep the app from auto opening when it detects an rfid? It's annoying if you use a case as a wallet.

I like. It seems to work well so far. Wish it would regenerate the random keys when you write a tag. Small gripe about a really useful app. Thanks

What’s new

- Support for reading and writing Encrypted tags. Reuse your Creality spools and tags! Quick tag encryption with no input - just Read and Write.
- Updated UI
- Changed Color prefix to 0 to match Creality tags and moved this prefix to Advanced. Note: This value isn't updated on tag Reads to standardize on 0.
- Added the Sector 1 Key used by the last read or written tag. This is just for reference, this text field is not used for anything else.
