PARENTAL CONTROL APP - BLOCKING ILLEGAL GAMBLING SITES

NoVa+ is a parental control and monitoring app designed for parents and guardians who want to protect minors from accessing illegal gambling and casino sites. It's a practical prevention tool against unauthorized platforms, helping to maintain a safer digital environment.

IMPORTANT PERMISSIONS AND THEIR USE:

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE
This app uses the Accessibility Service for the following parental control purposes:

• Blocking access to illegal gambling websites
• Protecting the app against unauthorized uninstallation by minors
• Preventing minors from disabling protections from device settings
• Keeping content filtering active at all times

IMPORTANT: The Accessibility Service makes it difficult to uninstall the app. This is intentional so that minors cannot remove the protection. Parents/guardians can uninstall the app by first disabling the service from: Settings → Accessibility → Installed Services → NoVa+

DEVICE ADMINISTRATOR
This permission is required to strengthen protection against unauthorized uninstallation. To uninstall, first disable the administrator from: Settings → Security → Device Administrators

VPN SERVICE
The app uses a local VPN service to filter and block domains of illegal gambling sites. The VPN operates only on the device; it does not redirect your traffic to external servers.

PARENTAL MONITORING AND CONTROL TOOL
This is a parental monitoring and control tool. It should only be installed by parents or legal guardians on devices of minors under their care, with the full knowledge and consent of the device owner.

HOW IT WORKS:

Once installed and activated, NoVa+ runs in the background using a secure network connection. The system blocks access to illegal gambling sites without interfering with other connections. In this way, NoVa+ offers active protection that acts in real time against any attempt to access illegal gambling sites.

The application will block sites using its list of classified domains. Within the application, you can recommend sites to be included in the classified domain list.
