The settings and playback feature is missing In the free version, from the score you can select an arrow that shows you the settings, play button, etc. Going to settings, you see that you have many tools at your disposal IF you buy the app. I did. Result? That arrow button is gone. Been trying to figure it out for an hour. No settings or playback is available. If I pay for something, it needs to frigging work. This app is a trap.
Takes sometime to learn but works. At first I had a difficult time because certain applications of the menu button are different in the Pro version. thanks for the explanation James Carter.
Great app BUT....... Could you add more instruments please? I want to compose and arrange for brass band with the following instruments: Soprano Cornet, Cornet, Flugle horn, Tenor horn, Barritone, Euphonium, Tenor Trombone, Bass Trombone, Eb Tuba and Bb Tuba. These instruments (except tenor horn and Eb tuba) are all Bb instruments. Just bought the pro version and was really disappointed with the limited instrument range. Other than this, I love the app so far, may even be the motivation to help me out of my depression! Thanks for reading, Kind regards, Matt.
Great when it's working Had the program for some time and thoroughly enjoyed it, but recently the system keeps crashing on my Nexus 7. Like I said, it's great when it's working.
For Note 4 and other KitKat users with hardware buttons... It does, in fact, have a "menu" button in the Pro version. For the Note 4, you simply hold down the dual rectangle button to the left of the home button until the "menu" call is made. This works on all applications that have hardware menu button support, but are "hiding" the soft menu button because the application is assuming your device has support for the "hard" menu button (which it does). I haven't tried it yet on my Nexus 7 (2013) to see if the menu/play button shows up again, but I imagine it will. Oh, and the distorted guitar sounds are terrible... LOL ;-)
I've been looking for ages for an app on which I can compose/arrange on my phone, and came across this! Great potential in it, especially in the ability to export XML files to other desktop music software. Please would you add a decresc. hairpin, and also place all hairpins below the stave (only in choral music do they go above.) Also, could you change 'choir aahs' etc to Sop/Alto/Ten/Bass? If I open the app on an Android tablet (as opposed to phone) will I see more staves in my score, or just bigger ones?! Looking forward to further developments in this!
