Good for people who only want to try this, but buy a real headset if you want the real deal. View keeps drifting, but thats hardly the devs fault... However. The connection to the PC is very spotty even with a cable it keeps disconnecting. Nothing like the trailer shows.
Not working properly impossible for calibration, lag no matter what.
Worked once, but I can't get it to work again. If I manage to fix the problem I will change the rating
Does the client need to be up to date if the app is updated?
Cool concept, but don't think VR will improve your gaming experience.... for now. This software is on the right track, but also proves that VR tech is still too young to be completely practical. Even 1920x1080 res is too low for full immersion to happen. My opinion: wait until an affordable, smooth 4k VR experience is a possibility and try again. But until then, this is just a really cool novelty. Good software, but current technology is not quite ready yet.
After reading all the great things over 90% of users have to say about TrinusVR, I figured I'd give it a go. After installation and some tweaking, I got the LITE version to work on my Galaxy S5 in tethered mode (best FPS). But sadly, even though I get a left/right image on my phone running GTA V, it's only mirrored - not true stereo 3d (even the Trinus "fake3d" wasn't able to help). I have a custom-built PC with an [update] EVGA GTX 1060 (6GB GDDR5) and all the latest drivers.
