Add compressor This is wonderful but there is no amplifier or hearing aid app with a built-in audio compressor/limiter. That way if the microphone is hit or a loud noise is made the level is brought down without causing a loud painful noise to the user of the app
Delayed Sound & Poor Quality On my Samsung S-4, I could say 2 to 4 words (depending on how many syllables) before I heard the first word. Sound quality was so bad that I could understand better without this hearing aid. The sound was very loud but very poor quality. I'm glad they advised me to get free version first. I'm deleting this app.
Didn't test it terribly thoroughly but this app has clearly and loudly delivered hushed whispers to my ears from > 20" away in a largish conference room. I wish there was an option to reduce background noise (certainly being able to here background noise does have benefits as well) and equalize/quiet louder noises; if I want to hear whispers, sudden loud noises or yelling shouldn't be so deafening. Overall quite the useful app, considering getting the paid version.
Good It should stay on if you exit the screen and not turn off when your screen shuts down thoe.? Its ok.
The 1 second delay on every sound, including your own voice, make this app extremely annoying and virtually useless. Don't bother.
Shocked...Works great. We were wondering what sounded like a loud helicopter when we played back the recording. It was the ceiling fan in the other room. This ad does what it says it does. Listen to the warning about being carefull. I had headphones on, my wife coughed and it sounded like a granade going off. Great app.
