About this app

😔 Some device models, like Google Pixel, Nothing phone and others, do not provide an option to protect the quick settings or the shutdown menu with a password, so a thief could swipe down from the lock screen and disable the internet connection, put the phone in airplane mode or shut it down, rendering any anti-theft protection or device locator app useless.

💡 With this app you can avoid that: you can disable access to the pull down menu (quick settings, control center) from the lock screen and also block the power off menu, requiring the password to power off. If your phone gets stolen you will still be able to locate and track it!

🙏 This app is completely free and has no ads, yet if you want to have a complete protection for your phone, yourself and your loved ones you can subscribe to the Cerberus suite (Cerberus Anti-theft, Cerberus Personal Safety and Cerberus Kids Safety).

😲 Cerberus Anti-theft gives you other great features to help you recover a lost or stolen device, like providing a fake power off menu (fake shutdown) to fool thieves in thinking they have shut down the phone, while it stays active and traceable.

This app uses Device Administration to turn off the screen and lock it when the power off menu or quick settings are being displayed.

This app uses Accessibility Service to monitor the lock screen and block the power off menu and quick settings. It does not collect or send any information.

Update: It works again! Thanks devs for your quick response. I missed restarting the phone after switching to option 2. You guys rock! -- Hi. This was working perfectly fine for my Google Pixel 7 Pro but after the recent update, it seems the app doesn't take effect. I can pull down the notification bar from the lock screen, scroll to the next section and nothing happens. It would be great if this could be fixed 🤞🏻

Hi Shehil, please try to set the "Quick settings block method" to 2, then reboot the phone. Let us know if it works after it restarts.

I love the idea of the app. But when the shutdown / restart menu appears, there is a small moment in which, if the thief is fast enough, he can press the shutdown button. On the other hand. I don't use the option to block the quick access buttons, I just want to block the change of state of the network, I don't want to block all the buttons on my lock screen. I preferred to hide the tile that controls the network connection and to continue using the other quick access. Thanks✌🏻

Hi Fabian, The app makes the shutdown menu disappear as soon as the Android OS notifies that it is being displayed, sorry but it can not be quicker.

I thought this would fix another problem, but now I see the difference between the Quick Setting drop-down panel and the Quick Control Page that comes up over the lock screen when the phone is sitting in the Pixel Stand and recharging. So I found a fix for the Quick Control screen elsewhere, and have a more favorable rating and experience with this Lock Screen Protector, which I've wanted to stop previously and now I can. No more accidentally changing settings while phone locked!
