Great little gem of a game Saw the dev post on reddit and figured I'd buy it, I'd never played any of this type of game before (Oware type). Compared to the free versions available in the play store this looks to have more polish, It's easier on the eyes too! The automatic sliding difficulty scale is a neat feature. You're always playing at the best difficulty level best suited to your abilities, much more intuitive than selecting from an Easy/Medium/Hard arbitrary scale.
This is the most polished and professional-looking mancala game app I've seen for Android. Unfortunately, the AI is pretty bad--I reached the hardest difficulty level the same day I installed the app.
Best Abstract Version This is the best abstract version of Oware I've played. I like the minimalistic art-style. Looks almost like a new game. Thanks for making to free! Had always wanted to try it but the price was sort of a barrier. Definitely recommend this. Awesome work Dev.
This game desperately, DESPERATELY needs a better menu system with actual text instead of cryptic icons. My first experience: game starts automatically when I open the app. AI makes its move. AI gets points. I don't know why. That's all OK, if I could see the rules. But the rules are nowhere to be seen. Thing is - mancala is such a diverse group of games, you cannot expect a player to guess the exact ruleset in use! Edit: ok, so the app info says there won't ever be written rules. Stupid. You say discovering the rules are the challenge? I say the challenge is in making a playable game. Gg.
Great 4.5 App is really solid. First played the board game in ghana in 2002. I also purchased the board game in Ghana as well but did not play game in years. Learned how 2 play again using this app
Wow This a lovely set up. PLEASE make this available for online play. There are many die hard Oware players around the world who would enjoy it. I love what you did here.
Ayo Game is a board game play all over Africa and some parts of Asia, America.
