Risks! I'm writing this at 4:30 am because I feel compelled to let you know, using this app is risky! App says to lay on bed, for sleep analysis. It felt like my heating pad on high it was so hot. Ran to the freezer to cool it off. Unplugged it ran through battery in less then 6 hours. Lose lose situation. From a programer pov good app, everyday user not so much and extremely risky for your baby (phone). All this happened at 4am.
very confusing interface BUT has immense potential very confusing layout and interface BUT has immense potential. Haven't seen anything else like it. I've just started my recording of data, not started reminders yet, hope it works ;) 4 stars because its so cool and i want this app to be finished. Would have been 3 as the interface its so confusing but as its beta I'll let that go. Note to developer: I agree with "aziz" on needing step-by-step tuts or even a setup screen on first running the app. On the interface side there are too many options and its not intuitive enough. Consider moving the menu items out of the menu onto the screen where they are visible and easily accessible instead of being hidden away and having to press the menu button (which isn't available in ICS anyway). Also using tabs maybe helpful, for example you could have a tab in the graph section for viewing that night another for the whole week or another tab to allow you access for opening graphs you desire. Anyways, hope the interface improves. Apart from that this app is really exciting!! keep it up!!!! :D P.s Check out the screenshots of the app ElectricSleep by Jon Willis. note the setup tutorial and clear interface options.
Any updates coming? Still just getting into this app. OK so some of the gui is not very intuitive, but in general it works well. There seems to be a problem with the history file retrieval that I haven't worked out yet. I think all those expecting immediate results are asking too much! Is there more info about using the Zeo headband? Hope you can find the time to keep developing Alexander! Fantastic work! Edit smart timer has a bug where at time zero it forces voice, vibrate and light notify that can't be deleted?
I'm sure it would be a great app if I could use it. Try looking at apps like Dreamz and Sleep Cycle for iOS. This is a wonderful idea and apparently a very well made app that goes the most in depth about sleep patterns and getting someone to lucid dream but the interface is nigh impenetrable. It took me a half hour to find everything and I'm still not sure if I did or what to do with it. Even with the instructions that take up more space and attention than the options and make the options look like example photos of options than options. This app more than anything needs a GUI overhaul.
Terrible UI!! Horrendous user interface! Nothing is intuitive or well-explained; everything is just confusing. And the screen is always coming on while I'm sleeping and staying on, making the phone get incredibly hot. There should be no reason for this; just use sound! And I only tried it for one night, so I don't know if this actually works... Great idea; awful execution.
Excellent app But not very intuitive to say the least. When you do work out how to calibrate and use it, its better than any other app I've tried. Lets you track your sleep and dreams well with great detail. To the ppl who can't turn off the audio recorder. Try exiting normally, not with the 'go back' button. That should fix it.
+Support for external Zeo EEG headband for REM detection!
+Added sleep depth metric
+Ability to upload data to a global lucid dreaming research database
+Smart timer GUI to see which reminders are active
+Quick start guide, links to articles and other apps to help you get started
+One touch config, potentially fixing "sound not played" glitches
+Fixed Smart Timer events not producing sound
+Added default reminder = default alarm (may be annoying!)
+Minor bug/crash fixes
Did you know? you can fly, teleport, Interstellar travel, etc in a lucid dream.
