Skiscout Trail Patrol makes it easy for trail runners to show when cross-country ski trails are newly groomed.
Start the app, draw a trail and stop when you're done. In the meantime, the trail is automatically displayed on the map on skiscout.app, so all cross-country skiers can see what's been done.
The trails are displayed in different colors depending on when they were last groomed.
The app also works without mobile coverage. If coverage disappears, the trail is saved and sent later.
When you're done, you can add a short comment that creates a report at the facility on Skiscout.
Free. Simple. No hassle.
To use Skiscout Trail Patrol, you need to allow access to your location, even when the app is in the background or the screen is locked. Your location information is collected from the time you press the "Start GPS logging" button until you press the "Stop logging" button. Otherwise, your location information is never collected.
Log and view newly prepared ski trails live on skiscout.app, easily and for free.
