I tried several other brain training apps. After time they became so boring that I no longer used them. Lumosity games are like fun video games. Each time, you want to beat your previous score, so you play over & over. I am extremely impressed. So much so that I purchased a friends & family membership after just one week.
Fun but I'm not totally sure how much value this provides. Also, in the free version premium is advertised everywhere. I'm okay with not having all the features but I'd rather not get what I don't have stuffed in my face. Also, there's a severe lack of content for the free version.
The language/word skills need to be way more challenging, with a much larger US/UK word list. It is frustrating not to have (correct) words recognised. So I have to avoid those games.
Good variation of games and not relative. I also like that it won't let you focus on a single game and makes you move on to different games so you don't get the effect of a video gaming experience. You don't have to matter the game it gives you to move on. I'm not sure of the benefit though and that is coming from someone in a family with Alzheimer's in immediate family.
Simple to understand how-to use. each challenge has a how to Before you start. I Like the early access trials too
Only my first week, but I can see how this program can help me over time
