CAR SHARING, THE LYNK & CO WAY


Most cars are parked most of the time. Lynk & Co Car Sharing makes better use of cars that already exist by letting people share them within their local communities. It’s a smarter way to get around, giving more people access to cars while helping reduce the number of cars on the streets

Car sharing is available in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, and the Netherlands.

Share

With the sharing platform in the Lynk & Co app, you can share your car with others whenever you’re not using it. It’s a win-win: give others the freedom of driving without owning a car, and earn some extra bucks along the way.



On your terms - decide if, when, and where your car is available. Set your price and choose whether to list it for specific timeframes or allow bookings anytime.

You choose who - verified borrowers can view your car’s availability and send booking requests. You review and accept or decline each request. You can also chat with (potential borrowers).


All Lynk & Co models registered in the above mentioned markets can be shared.

Borrow

Need a car, just not all the time? Lynk & Co’s Car Sharing platform lets you borrow cars from people in your local community. Unlike traditional car pools, we connect you directly with private car owners, making better use of cars that already exist and helping reduce the number of cars on the streets.

Simple sign-up - create an account and register as a borrower using your driver’s license.

Find a car - browse available cars in your neighborhood and search by time slot.

Borrow cars - send a booking request and use a nearby car once it’s accepted.

Ratings and reviews

Cannot access Journey camera files. (neither a friend with the exact same car) (Tried many times) Climate control wil not start anymore. And it keeps on beeping for a while that it's not connected... Easy things to fix (or break in case of remote climate control activation). Too bad :( edit: also cannot connect anymore when I am not on WiFi. So many bugs/issues ... Doesn't suit the brand.

The app is essentially unusable for a second key holder. Despite having a physical key and full access to the car, important features like preheating and checking the battery status are unavailable. For a modern connected car, restricting basic functions to only one user is very frustrating and makes the app feel incomplete. This should work for all authorized drivers, not just the primary account.

My experience with this is was awful. The crashed multiple time while; creating an account, register my payment card, booking a car and also while starting to the process of borrowing a car which at the and never happened because I was late for my appointment and hade to make other arrangements. And yet Lynk&Co charged me for the whole thing 😒 one more thing, deleting and reinstalling the app did not work
