I would give it zero stars if I could. This app was great and allowed me to begin investing in large companies. I even started to see gains... after over a year of using the app, they started charging me 3 dollars/ month...I was unaware and they got me for 12$, nonrefundable. They said they sent me an email to inform me (I never got that email). The only way to not get charged the 3$/ month fee is by having 10,000$ invested with m1. I got this app to save money, not have it taken.

Pros: Love the app concept. Pies are really great and saw lots of reviews online on different portfolios. Huge selection of vanguard pre defined portfolios. Good also for DCA. Cons: I really loved it at first but Customer service is really terrible. phone helpline is useless and messaging in app does not work. It takes days to process a bank transfer and it took more than a month to validate my identify. It feels like is understaffed and poorly automated. I am considering closing it up.
