I would give it zero stars if I could. This app was great and allowed me to begin investing in large companies. I even started to see gains... after over a year of using the app, they started charging me 3 dollars/ month...I was unaware and they got me for 12$, nonrefundable. They said they sent me an email to inform me (I never got that email). The only way to not get charged the 3$/ month fee is by having 10,000$ invested with m1. I got this app to save money, not have it taken.

M1 used to be top dog for free investing apps but sadly over time they have got greedy like many others. They start charging fees they promised they would never do and trying to close an account is really difficult and they do not even show you all the fees for doing so. Highly recommend finding another investment app unless the pie chart system is SUPER important to you
