At Bonsaisense iSchool, we teach bonsai with discretion and without detours.
🌍 Our school is available in several languages: English 🇬🇧, German 🇩🇪, French 🇫🇷, Italian 🇮🇹, and Portuguese 🇵🇹. We want to make real bonsai knowledge accessible to everyone, regardless of language, always with a direct, technical, and applied approach. ✂️🌱
Our goal is to train bonsai artists capable of working with purpose, technique, and long-term vision. That's why we've created a unique online school, where knowledge isn't embellished or hidden. Here, we don't follow empty formulas or unfounded myths: everything we teach is based on practical experience, observation, and the real evolution of trees. 🌳📚
Subscription is at the heart of the school.
With it, you'll access classes organized by thematic blocks, via video, and with direct explanations led by Rafa Torres, a bonsai professional with more than 20 years of international experience. 🎥 Each class is designed so you can apply it immediately, whether you're just starting out or have been in the world of bonsai for some time. It doesn't matter if your tree is from a nursery or an advanced specimen: the important thing is to understand the reason for each decision.
Our methodology always starts with the tree.
Each technique, each design, and each project responds to a physiological or structural need of the bonsai. That's why we place so much importance on understanding the tree, the time of year, and its response. We don't work according to a fixed calendar, but rather according to plant logic 🌿. And we explain everything clearly, without getting lost in technical jargon, but without hiding the essentials.

The school is organized into blocks so you can progress at your own pace, with new content that is updated regularly 🔄. Topics include cultivation, design, seasonal work, transplanting, pruning, wiring, branch design, bud selection, and much more. Plus, you'll see real trees evolving year after year, not just images of finished projects.
Specific courses for in-depth learning.
In addition to a subscription, we offer independent courses focused on key topics: specific species, design styles, refinement, or specific techniques. 🎯 These courses are designed to complement ongoing training and allow you to delve deeper into whatever interests or needs you most at this time as a bonsa artist.
