The widespread adoption and use of mobile technologies have the potential to provides next generation interactive Learning and innovative ways to improve quality services to the CA students.
The Board of Studies Mobile Application would be repository of study content for students. E-Learning, E-Book, Live Coaching Classes, all the publications of Board of Studies including Study Material, Revision Test Papers, Suggested Answers, Supplementary Study Material, Mock Test Papers, Sample Questions, and previous attempts’ question papers, BoS announcement would be available in it. The monthly Students’ Journal - The Chartered Accountant Student can also be accessed through Mobile App.
It is a one-stop platform for our students to access all activities of Board of Studies services.
The Key features of the Mobile App are as under:

Ratings and reviews

The app crashes every time I try to join live classes on my Redmi 13 5G (Android 14). I’ve cleared data, reinstalled, and updated everything including WebView — still no fix. Mi support says it may be a compatibility issue with MIUI. Website works but the video quality is poor compared to the app. ICAI, please fix this urgently or release a new version compatible with Redmi/Xiaomi devices. Many students are facing this problem. This is affecting our preparation seriously.

The app is extremely intuitive to use and the UI of this version is also more responsive as compared to the older ones. But a problem arises when we switch to landscape mode during recorded or live virtual classes. Instead of the video filling the whole screen like the app used to do in older versions, the UI rotates 180° and stretches to fit the screen. Needless to say, this defeats the purpose for which one chooses landscape mode. Please rectify this issue in the succeeding versions. Thanks.

The ICAI BoS app is a useful initiative for CA students, offering easy access to study materials and lectures. However, the app frequently crashes, disrupting the study experience and making it unreliable. Even after reinstalling, the issue persists. Improved stability and optimization are essential to make the app more effective.A smoother user experience would make this app much more effective and helpful for students like me preparing for exams
