About this app

OrderMate is a companion app for supported point-of-sale workflows. It helps merchants connect purchases, refunds, and custom transactions to external payment terminals, improving the speed and accuracy of the checkout process in your stores.

Use OrderMate to:
- Add and manage terminal mappings for in-store devices.
- Monitor supported point-of-sale checkout and refund screens.
- Start purchases, refunds, and custom terminal transactions through configured connections.
- Receive live notifications for terminal dialogs, transaction status, and manual actions.
- Try the built-in demo flow before connecting a real terminal.

On Android, after the operator gives explicit consent, OrderMate uses the AccessibilityService API. It reads visible text, content descriptions, buttons, and screen structure only from the supported point-of-sale app. This can include identifiers such as order names and order IDs; financial information such as transaction amounts and payment methods; and app activity such as the checkout screen and controls currently visible.

OrderMate processes this screen content on the device to identify supported workflows and connect them to the configured payment terminal. Relevant transaction and order information—including order identifiers, transaction amounts, payment methods, and a checkout summary—is transmitted to OrderMate's backend for transaction processing and support diagnostics. AccessibilityService monitoring is limited to the supported point-of-sale app and does not begin without consent. It stops when consent is declined or withdrawn.

Automatic Navigation is a separate optional feature. When enabled, it can navigate the supported point-of-sales automatically after terminal success or failure. OrderMate does not sell AccessibilityService data or use it for advertising.
