I've been playing this and it's sequel since they came out. I uninstalled a few years ago and completely forgot about both. I saw the game on a video and reinstalled. IT STILL HOLDS UP. The graphics, gameplay, everything. Still as awesome as I remember. It's super easy to earn gold bars and cash without paying for IAPs, and there's a couple of bugs with ammo/cash getting stuck, but nothing makes it unplayable. I still HIGHLY recommend this and DT2. Still 5 ⭐ on everything, even after a decade.

I gotta say, this game really did not live up to the hype, with its unnecessary bad UI controls and feel of a game released in 2004. I do really like the freedom of moving around on your own but that's very frustrating when the controls are in the worst places for me. Why can't we place the buttons where we'd like?? Every time I try to turn, I reload and then ADS reloading doesn't auto put you back to ADS. Game has potential for 2004, but not today's standards. Hard pass for me 👎

Love this game, I always come back to replay it, especially the endless mode, while listening to music, which is actually where my main annoyance comes up!!! I wish there was an option to turn off game sound, or at least adjust the volume of game sound. There already is one for the ingame music, why not game sounds? Ads are more frequent than I remember, but not totally annoying or unfair considering it's free. Other than the fact I can't mute the sound, I have no complaints, really great game.
