Notifications don't work after upgrading Android to Nougat. The notification icon pops up on the screen for a split second then disappears with no vibration or sound. Hopefully this gets fixed because this was my favorite RSS app, but in the meantime I've switched to another RSS app.
V1.68. Better than most, but...OPML export/import is broken - tried transferring the setup from my tablet to phone and not everything turned up. Scheduled update doesn't work - I have to refresh when I visit the app. In 'All entries' view, the app sometimes puts the wrong feed icon against an article.
Great app. One of the few or maybe the only one that does what I want, which is the ability to predownload everything for reading offline (to save data) AND a mobile view (as opposed to having to load the webpage). The full article can also be cached. A few minor gripes (still gave it 5 stars and bought the paid version)- 1. Would be nice to be able to set the feed settings globally, such as download pictures and retrieve full text. As of now, after importing an OPML, you have to go to each feed individually and change the settings which is cumbersome. 2. The ability to disable the refresh by pulling/swiping downward. Sometimes I do this accidentally. 3. A tablet view. 4. Occassionally for some reason, the full article does not download for some reason.
Tried others and many have failed. I wanted a simple, clean interface and an easy to read widget. This provides all that and makes reading news an enjoyable experience. Recommended to anyone that wants control over their reading material.
Finally found a great rss reader similar to one that is no longer supported. I am really liking the simplicity. Would love the feature to automatically open full article from list instead of having to press Full.
Probably the best Android RSS reader out there. Very clean easy to use interface. Very reasonable price if you chose to buy it and support the developer. If tagging news is added, this would easily make it the best RSS reader on any given platform, even better than what FeedDemon was on Windows.
- Android O support
- fixed crashes
