About this app

Daijishō is a retro launcher that let you manage your retro games libraries. Daijishō cares about integrated experience, expansibility, aesthetic and pragmatical usabilities let you focus on games itself. It will be updated continuously in the future based on users responds and my own retro gaming experience in my free time.

This app uses the Android Accessibility API exclusively to enable an optional in-app screen-lock feature. This lets users lock their device without using physical buttons, helping prevent hardware wear. The API is not used for data collection, monitoring user activity, or accessing personal content.

Beware it does not come with emulators.

Love it but a few small things keep me from giving it 5 stars. Scraping arcade games is a nightmare that never works and I ended up using Skraper on my PC. I wish I had better control of the box art, but this is minor. Since each game is tied to a core I'd like to be able to just have all games or at least faves on a single page regardless of system.

Great frontend that makes my life way easier, also easy to use, if you struggle a bit you can look up some videos and get the hang of it quickly. The scraper for box arts is nice and if you're playing a rom hack or something like that you can select images from your own files so that it fits in with the rest of your titles in your collection. So if you wanna turn your device into an emulation machine this is the way to go, at least for me. Oh yeah and it's completely free and has no ads

I absolutely love this frontend and it's easily the best available for most Android devices, but it still has potential to be even better. I hope to see features like separate sort and display names (for those of us who want to keep games in release order when their names would sort them otherwise) and the ability to search for box art within the app in the future.
