The no-fear calculator Amazing functionality, great features. It's offline, it's free and it shows all steps (with explanation!). The UI is a little clunky though, and especially with division, which has to be in fraction form, and deleting typed numbers. Otherwise, this is a 5-star app, the best of its kind I've found.
Didnt work Tried to see the steps for an integral with respect to x and it wasn't reading the equation correctly. Very frustrating. Here is the equation I attempted to enter with no luck : integrate x^3(sqrt(x^(2)-25)). It was done with correct signs in the program but still didn't work.
Language problem It's a great app. It shows the right answer and explanation. But there is one problem.. Language. For me, it is hard to read math written in English. There is a option for Language change and I changed it! But the problem is that CROATIAN translation is really really bad... Please ask someone to translate it. I will change the review if u fix/update this. Overall without language problem, great app!
Missing something For example we want to know the answer in interval how will we find that.? Nice app mostly I get all my answers to all my math problems but at higher level its little bit left behind. Over all love this app. But need some work to be done for 3rd year and onwards students. If I enter a problem 5x-3y≤7x+7/6 it will give me the right answer x≥-25/12 but won't tell its interval.
So helpful! It helps a lot, when I'm stuck on some hard thing. Though it can give some really weird explanations, but it doesn't happen very often, so I give it 5 stars
Gives a Nonsense Solutions to Simple Equations I tried a simple equation, 25x=y^2, and solved for y. It gave me -y^2 = -25x and tells me that it's identically true. It also shows a whole bunch of steps to simply swap sides and negate. That's really silly. Now the Cymath app gives me (a) much clearer steps and (b) an actual solution, y=±5sqrt(x), albeit with math symbols.
