Works beautifully Nexus5 I have been wanting this app for a long time (previous phone not supported) but now this works great on my Nexus5. I can get detailed information about the rate at which my chargers actually charge the phone. I have found out that the rated output of a charger doesn't mean it will charge faster (iPad charger rated for 2100 mA only charges my device at 600mA). Dev is very helpful and responds quickly, I bought the donate version because this is such a helpful tool!
A Sony Z1 User I had an issue with my Z1 charging very slowly from the dock charging port. I bought a cable to charge it on this port to save opening up the USB cover all the time. The dock connector is held in place with a magnet and doesn't always make a good connection - the phone says it's charging but it takes hours. Using this app I can check the charge current and make sure it's good (usually around 800ma) - and looking at the log can be quite interesting too. Originally got the free version. I don't buy many apps but this one has been so useful I paid the dollar for the donate version.
Mostly works for Droid 4 Works partially on Droid 4 When charging my phone from my computer the widget shows that the Droid is charging at 500 mA, which is correct. When attached to the factory wall charger (850 mA output) or car charger (1000 mA output) , the widget shows charging, but at 0 mA. I get the same result from the graphical and text widgets. All of the other features appear to work correctly.
By far, the most useful widget in the world! Wonder why your phone charges slower/faster on some chargers vs. others? Why does your Samsung charger charge faster when plugged into the bathroom wall socket vs. the socket next to your bed? This is a must have widget bcs you see exactly how much juice is hitting your phone at any time with just a touch.
Stopped working on my Moto G after lollipop upgrade. Allowed me to organize my USB cables according to how well they charged my devices.
Looks good just cant seem to get it to show anything other than 1ma charge status. Looks good just cant seem to get it to show anything other than 1ma charge status.
