Excellent (apart from..).. I cannot work out how to set the local sync folder.. it's saying that local files (as defined in the initial set up) will be stored/moved into folder Mantano/books but is instead dumping them into internal memory root. Otherwise, works like a charm although it would be nice to be able to add pdf files from my desktop Windows PC.. excellent app and good developer..
I love Bookari even more now with the latest update (3.0.16)! Being an Android Kitkat (4.4) user, it's fantastic to have the ability to move my eBooks to my SD card and to be able to use it to store synced files is a big bonus since I have over 1,000 books! The new "book details" screen looks wonderful! Also, (not sure if this is new or not) I noticed that on the cloud I'm able to view my notes by several different catagories including Type and Book, this is a huge help! Keep up the great work and thank you for the amazing improvements!!
Bitter deception It worked like a charm the first installation but with the premium bookari I couldn't even launch the app. Unfortunately bookari premium stop working. All what I get every time I start the app. I romoved and reinstalled the app many times but nothing happens 😠
terrible UI that has not improved over time. can't even refresh its list of local files without going one by one, and is poorly calibrated to its own check boxes. don't waste your time
Working well A little more difficult to get used to having been reading on Nook devices and the Nook and Kindle apps. Started using it to read pdf's for work and CME. Love the Dropbox integration. I just load the pdf files there from my computer then import them over. Couldn't work better.
Great app But there is one possible growth point I would like to suggest. It affects me often when I use the volume controls to turn pages the app turns two and sometimes three pages without any visual indication except for the interrupted continuity of the book. Is there any way it could be "debounced" in software. I'll give the app 5 stars if you add this. I have a rotator cuff injury that makes swiping pages a challenge, really prefer the volume buttons.
