Easy to search and set navigation in Australia. Good maps for city and main rural roads - not minor dirt tracks and roads. Some of the routes it chooses are positively weird. If you set intermediate points or know generally how to get close and ignore some of the cranky directions on the way that don't suit you, it gets you there no problems.
Great app, sometimes not the best route, however there are many settings for this, so you should be able to solve this. This app will always get you there and is better than TomTom.
I'm using Navigator with Tomtom Truck maps and HD Traffic. HD Traffic picks up road closures fine but the app still navigates you onto the closed roads. Not good.
1. Excessive permissions required "make & manage phone calls". The excuse is so sounds can be muted, but the app refuses to run without it. Seriously? Is this so critical that your developers can't work around this or are they just lazy? 2. Despite repeated requests and nonsensical advice to the contrary, rail / tube stations are still not available on any map. Very poor for a travel app. *Update in response to reply* point 1 permissions ARE excessive and not required on previous versions, and shouldn't prevent app from starting. Point 2 wasn't addressed yet again, proving my point about poor service. March 2018 update still hasn't addressed any of these issues.
Using this app since years and I still love it. I like the voice. In France the free maps were not always up to date but in Germany that's no problem.
