1st use I used this to track a Boy Scout hike. A little confusing on the 1st start. But it worked out well. I had no route in to follow, but will use it on a bike hike over and extending the base route. Recommended to me from a user, so I'll pass it on. Been using for over a year. Lost records because of phone issues, gone with reboot. Great variety of workouts tracked for personal comparison, and easy sharing with friends, through social apps.
Good to a point I'm use this app to not only measure my hikes but also to map my neighborhood, which is continually growing and very confusing. The problem I have is even though I paid to upgrade, I still get the advertising. I dropped it for 6 months maybe you have resolved the problem.
Battery drain Draining the battery even when not in use. Has wiped out 14% of my battery life this morning and I haven't opened the app in weeks.
Walking tool Just started walking. 65 years old. Helps me see path and progress. Easier than using my #2 pencil on my Big Chief Tablet.
Worked flawlessly!!! I downloaded this app to my phone and registered it through my home wifi. I then was able to use it, in airplane mode, with no data plan on my phone, to record pace, calories burned, andn miles hiked. It worked flawlessly!!! I am very happy with this app!!! Thank-you MapMyFitness Inc.
