Not a bad app, but it has one glaring fault. Once you begin logging a hike, the calorie count in the app begins ticking off on its own, one calorie every few seconds. The app adds calories to your workout even if you are not moving. By the time one hour has gone by, you have added over 1000 calories to your hike without even moving. I contacted the app designers and they said that should not be occurring. Check it out. Because of this software error, the calorie expenditure of the app is totally worthless. Note that this app passes the calorie count to MyFitnessPal, another app distributed by the same vendor. If you cannot trust the calorie count, that is a major problem.
At one point I had given this app 5 stars, but what happened to it? It used to have elevations - I mean it's a hiking app, after all, so you want this info! But it's gone now. I'm also having issues saving my workouts & when it does save, it says I hiked 4/10 of a mile - even on a five mile trail. Oh well. The CEO thinks Trump is an asset to the country, so it's time for a different app.
Perfecr.app for a wall or run or bike workout. This is not a game or social Web site, rather it is a well made and useful tool. It is easy to use while on tge go requiring little from the user but providing important information during training. I would rate it more than five stars.
Great for tracking runs, hikes, walks. I really like the ongoing feedback of time, distance, and speed but this can be set at any frequency (or none) if that's not your thing. Very reliable -- once the phone crashed and, after the reboot, the app picked right back up where we were before.
It's idiotic to have to "join" just to use an app. Get something else, unless you just love always having to create a new account every time you download an app.
I avoid Facebook and you try to make me sign up on it as the only way you let me use this app f*** you
