Close to perfect I'd really like a PAUSE/RESUME button in the notification bar, plus I've some doubt as to how the gain is calculated. Apart from that this is a great app.
Reliable ride tracking I've used this for 3 years, and it's reliable, has a decent UI and seems to be efficient with battery use. Only gripe is it doesn't handle time-zones well, sometimes recording a ride on the wrong date. Would be nice to be able to select different bikes too. I use this for my main bike, and it helps me keep track of the distance it's covered - useful for maintenance scheduling. When I ride another bike, I use a different app, so I can keep the mileage accurate for the bike
I love the app except for.... I really like the app and I was seriously considering subscribing to the pro version. In preparation I forked out on a Garmin speed & cadence sensor, which was listed as being compatible, so as to get even more accurate data. On trying to connect the sensor to the app on my phone however, it was cause an error which closed the app. I contacted MMR who advised me they were aware of the issue and were fixing it and so I kept the sensor. Months later and the issue still hasn't been fixed.
Great app - Well done guys! I have now used "Map My Ride" regularly for a whole year... As a whole I am more than impressed. Saying that though on two occasions the app had lost GPS signal for no reason ~ just a little frustrating but not worth moaning about 10/10
Useful and straightforward Good integration with other apps - perhaps a bit generous on calories burned!
Good app... Does the job I like this app as it does a decent job. Have tried others but keep coming back to this one. Easy to use with good integration with my other health apps.
