I like this app. I don't like to run with my phone a lot, but Map my Run is cool to check out stats. I really like the create route feature.
Very good motivation, I downloaded it 5 weeks before a half marathon, and started training with it. I reached my goal and am going to keep at it (possibly upgrading to the paid version). Only problem is that, on a couple of occasions, it screws up, telling me it took either just 2mins or half an hour to run 1km.
I love this app! If you have earbuds in your ear listening to your music, it will interrupt to let you know when you've hit each mile. I wish it did it at the half mile mark, but it didn't. Not sure if there is a setting though. Let's you know your pace also. I dig it!
I used to love this app but the GPS has become so erratic. I do the same route and the distance can vary by 1.5 km. I am carrying my phone the same way I always have. It is making me want to find another more reliable app. 😭
Used to be good, but now constantly stops tracking. It closes and stops recording distance. Still records the time if I reopen it. I even have battery optimization turned off for the app. Not worth much of anything if it doesn't do the one thing I use it for.
Have used this app for years. It's accurate & useful. I can revisit old routes if I'm aiming for a certain mileage, turn on stats if I'm training. My husband can track me, for safety. Only thing I wish I could do is map out new routes so I can plan a run when in a different city.
