I had been using Google Fit for about a year now and it has worked up until a few weeks ago after I got a new phone. I decided to try a new application to see how the accuracy in step counting compares. The coolest thing about this application is that is tracks your steps by GPS and not just a pedometer. You don't have to have any Under Armor products to use it, but it is an option if you choose to incorporate such things. Overall, I am pleased with this application and would suggest it to anyone looking for an app to track progress in live time. I knew walking three miles was more steps than just five hundred, yes!
I am considering upgrading to premium, it is that good! I am using 2 under armour apps for a huge amt of weight loss and like that they do not antagonize you with reminders. Ease of use is outstanding after a little exploring. I will report back in a year after I have gotten to my goal!
Mileage accuracy may be a little off without data turned on, but otherwise a great app. Has all the features I would have added if I had designed it myself and not a lot of annoying extras. The ads and invites to upgrade aren't terribly intrusive.
App is easy to us and syncs with other myfitnesspal appa making tracking excercise and calories burned really easy. Only quibble is in the countryside where i live it sometimes fails to follow paths, bit this doesnt really have an impact unless you really want to the metre accuracy
Sometimes it takes awhile before it starts logging your walk . Not much more than 1/8 mile before gps kicks on. Not sure if it is the app or my Sprint service.
App starts and stops when I do. Start app at beginning of walk, stop at end of walk. All stops in between are automatically taken care of.
