Sept. 15, re. Mapquest comments, with all due respect, I suggest you read my original review. What's lacking in your app that seems to be standard in all other GPS apps is offline usage, NOT the app running in the background when NOT in use. Very accurate; no complaints on its navigational functionality; however, it has no offline capabilities and ran my data usage through the roof! Switching for that reason alone!
Terrible. I had chosen my route to avoid a heavily congested area on the Veterans Expressway in Tampa that required me to cross multiple lanes in a very short distance. At this spot, traffic comes to a literal standstill. Having selected a route to avoid this spot, I set out on the route I had chosen. However, as I was driving, the app announced that it detected traffic in the route I was following and that it was automatically adjusting my route. And it adjusted my route to the very route I was trying to avoid. I don't appreciate apps that make decisions for me. At the very least, the app should have asked me if I wished to have my route adjusted. Also, the computer-generated voice is hard to understand.
This app used to be great. Now it crashes and doesnt give me directions until it is too late and keeps saying I am on a route when i have no navivation going. This is really frustrating considering I rely on the app a lot. Please fix
Best navigation app for my Galaxy S7 EDGE that works well! All others I tried lose GPS signal, has audio problems or leads me the wrong way. Anyway, works very well for MY phone!
I need a system that will allow me to have voice directions because I drive long distances. MapQuest two times in a row started me off telling me how to leave my home, then said nothing else to me for the rest of the trip
I have no sense of directions if it wasn't for MapQuest who knows where I'd wind up. Anyway MapQuest is my direction and I love all the places u have gotten me to do everything getting my 8 year old son anywhere he dreams to go thanks for helping me I give this app a amazing thumns up???????
