It's hot! That means I like it.😁
I love this app. It's great that I can see the satellite viea a, and that you can choose to avoid highways if you want. I'm so happy not having to use Google maps. I also love that it helps you keep track of the speed limit. But it keeps crashing on me. It freezes and sometimes if I change from map to detailed directions it won't show me the map again, and I have to close it and start all over. If it didn't stop working for me I would give it 5 stars.
I usually use Google maps because it's part of Google but downloaded mapqust and it has more features than Google maps because you can set it up to show your speed, traffic cams, and shows the speed limit. The only thing I don't like is you can't change the display to satellite view for 3d effect like with Google maps.
For use with Bluetooth HF (handsfree) profile this cannot be beat. The simple fact that MapQuest has integrated smoothly functioning dynamic Bluetooth connectivity with the HF profile has completely sold me on this app. I've struggled with a variety of partially successful methods to get this to work with Google Maps but have always been disappointed. MapQuest's implementation works flawlessly with my phone and Audi MMI.
I like that it gives more than one route choice, but what I DON'T like is this: No option to see a printed version of the directions. I need both, so I uninstalled it. A shame, too. Map Quest used to be my favorite planner when I had a computer.
This app needs some serious work guys. Come on, I expected way more from AOL/VERIZON. Not even close to gmap or other mobile apps. Need to re-look at your indexing on the servers. Very disappointed.
