Makes travelling so much easier This app is my everything. I spend a lot of time backpacking and travelling to other countries. Thanks to this app I spend less of this time completely lost. The GPS tracking means after you have downloaded the country map you can find your location and much of what is around you without the need for Wi-Fi. This is amazing for walking, cycling and driving. Maps.me is the most useful app I have ever used and highly recommend it.
Great App ! Ideas below Cycling from Blackpool to Italy & it's proved its worth time & again. Excellent. Would love to see:- ability to Bluetooth map files from 1 device to another. I plan on a tablet & follow my smartphone, so have to download twice or cheat. Cycle routes aren't the best for touring as I want to stay on tarmac, car route option leads to roads bicycles can't always go on. An option for quiet roads would be awesome.
My favourite map app. I sometimes have a problem in starting out navigation with my current position being used, so for typical navigating I use navigator. However, for a map and 'manual' navigation I love Maps me, level of details available is amazing. One of my favourite apps in general and it helped us number of times discover something new during traveling thanks to high level of information included.
Great App. Well worth it and getting better all the time! Have had this for a while and can find little to fault it. Free and it does so much. Wonderful mesh of social mapping and input with an extremely useful app. Nothing's perfect - on journeys it needs to switch off screen to save battery and lighten load on the system.
Very useful app This app is very usefull for walking trips. As car navi has trable to caunt road between Bratislava and Krakow in midle europe but for walking navi in distance citis is the best what i have bin try. P.S. Sorry for my eng :) I can suggest this app before you start to any unknown city as tourist ;)
Interesting but... Aparently, it seems that selecting Portuguese Voice and getting someone speaking Brazilian is OK; just like selecting English and getting some Jamaican. Also, "slide right" is translated as "curva ligeira à direita" ("slight curve right "), which is a warning, not an instruction; "slide" is not = "slight", OK? The bottom line: why not include actual Portuguese in the Language list? Thanks.
– Fixed GPS data reception bug.
