Took a while to download whole of UK region by region but I now have a whole road atlas worth of detailed maps on My Lenovo A10 tablet. Works offline and the tablet's GPS can tell Me exactly where I'm lost! Use it for route planning and finding places to visit when travelling but haven't tried to navigate with it yet.
I use the app for offline map viewing. When trying to plot a route, I couldn't untill updating the maps. This shouldn't be the case, and very annoying if you're abroad and roaming. If you can add a button 'use existing maps' next to 'download' and 'cancel', I'll give the 4 star I think you could be
It's great and offers nice simple functionality, but as stated - it can take a while to re-calculate a route after a missed turn and it would be nice to store a history of tracked routes... Also some type o interpolation or faster GPS polling would be nice as the tracking seems a little jerky...
The level of detail is astounding. The handling is intuitive and easy. Search is brilliant in the area and all works off-line. The only small flaw is that when editing bookmarks, sometimes information gets lost. Clear instructions for this would be of advantage. Walking directions are working, sometimes of detours come up, one can ignore them. Got quire slow recently though the phone has ample memory.
Super useful app for travelling abroad. Smart maps, ads aren't invasive, good ergonomy. All-in-all, best map app I've seen in a while if not ever. Crashes sometimes for no reason but I suspect my phone from being the culprit.
Great app the detail is awesome. Of all the GPS apps I have used this one is the only one that has actually pin point my location at home and in the right complex. Only thing it's missing is a built-in transit map.
