9 Gutia Board Game: Katakati brings a traditional Indian strategy game experience to your Android device.

Based on classic Nau Guti and 9 Guti capture gameplay, Katakati is a two-player board game where planning, timing and smart jumping moves decide the winner. It is also known by regional names such as Kata Kati, Nau Goti, 9 Gutia and Lau Kata Kati.

Play against the built-in AI with Easy, Medium or Hard difficulty, or enjoy a local two-player match with a friend on the same device. Core gameplay works offline, and no account or sign-in is required.

HOW TO PLAY

Each player begins with nine pieces on their side of the board.

Move one piece at a time along the connected board lines to an adjacent empty point. Capture an opponent’s piece by jumping over it and landing on the empty point immediately beyond it.

If another capture is available from the new position, continue capturing with the same piece during that turn. Watch the highlighted moves, plan your jumps carefully and protect your remaining pieces.

The player who captures all of the opponent’s pieces wins the match.

Choose an AI difficulty according to your experience:

• Easy — learn the board and practise basic moves
• Medium — face a more balanced strategy challenge
• Hard — test your planning and capture decisions

You can also play offline with another person using the same device. Customize player names and piece colours, track match results on the scoreboard and review your complete game history.
