It's nice to easily look up and major stock. But I have complaints. 1) You can't save favorite tickers/stocks (for quick lookups) without having an account, which I think requires a subscription. 2) The news in the articles section isn't fair and unbiased. The articles are clearly written by staunch Democrats, trying to promote the Democrat agenda. Such a blatant bias damages MarketWatch's integrity.
The mobile version has gotten better, easier and faster to use. The latest desk top version is not as good as before, too many more clicks needed to get to news. I liked the view of the last version.
Since the last update, I receive constant push notifications now even when I have turned all notifications off. It is getting annoying to the point where I will have to uninstall. Please fix.
It was totally fine until they started with the push notification spam. I have notifications turned off and I still get bombarded with news updates that I don't want. Attempted to get information by contacting the developer, no response.
Works smoothly and looks good, but does not offer any of the company info, such as balance sheet reports that I want. Therefore this app is useless to me.
Simple, easy method for tracking my portfolio without having to login to my equities account. The news feed is from Market Watch, thus I don't have to figure out if it's a bogus feed from some agency trying to get my attention.
Thanks for using the MarketWatch mobile app!
