Booking hotels and checking in is easy however there seems to sometimes be an issue when requesting services where the request is not sent to the hotel however the app makes it seem like it has. After waiting an hour I chatted with an associate who confirmed that the request did no go through. Please just throw an error if the request is not received.
Still have to login every time on GS7 Have been patiently waiting for a fix. How long could this possibly take with all of the poor reviews out there? IHG and Hilton work flawlessly. Embarrassed for Marriott.
I can never get logged in on my S7. Tried another android same issues. Just spins like it's doing something.
Quirky operability. I frequently launch a browser to the main website site, get the info I need, and then log out before the mobile app even logs in. Why even bother with the mobile app??
Always logging out randomly, although I'll still be receiving push notifications. Example: I'm in the airport and receive a push notification stating that I can check in to my room. I click the notification but instead of the Marriott app taking me to the reservation details, it asks me to log in again. I hadn't logged out yesterday, and I was just on the app to look up hotels then. Without confidence in the app, it's faster to google a phone number and call the hotel directly -- which defeats the app's purpose entirely.
Most recent update became a battery drain - w/40% of battery left, Marriott app had used 21%. Next closest was the screen at 10%. It's still not as useful as the Hilton app w/it's room selection capability.
