I'm a frequent visitor to Marriott Hotels, so this app comes in handy when traveling and viewing your account. The app offers the basic necessities offered on the Marriott website in a compact organized convenient format. The ONLY thing missing is the most used feature that I use on the website. It is missing the 'My dates are flexible' check box. This is handy for planing cost-effective future stay at their hotels. Would be great if feature is incorporated in the next update. I will uninstall this app until this is added.
Latest update has broken the ability to check-in through the app. Keep getting "There seems to be a connection problem, please wait and try again" but I have tried over a reliable WiFi connection as well as over mobile network connection and still nothing. This feature was working properly less than a week ago.
Great app but needs the option to add a second guest name to reservations such as a spouse. Hilton app lets me do this. Now i have to call to do this and makes the app pointless to use for booking
Still does not show upcoming reservations made by A 3rd party with the Marriott awards number!.....A perfect example of taking a worthwhile, functioning app, and "updating" it to being non-functioning and quite frankly useless. No longer automatically links to 3rd-party-reservations made with the correct rewards number. Therefore, no mobile check-in, etc, because there are no reservations for the app to link to. Instead of promising the old functionality in a future release, how about rolling this update back until the new one has been fully tested and is ready?! To anyone intelligent enough to read the app reviews BEFORE updating (clearly I wasn't), don't update unless you want significantly reduced functionality.
Recent versions useless as the current stay and previous reservations are not shown at all. When it did previously, the text requests didn't work. Called customer service twice and each time took up a lot of time before getting through to a human. The first time either the call dropped or the agent hung up, the second time the number for Platinum Elite members from within the app put me through to Member Enrollment! I gave up in the end and reported the numerous issues to the Front Desk Manager. At least the staff at the actual hotel are excellent. If my husband were not a Lifetime Platinum Elite Member and we had not had plenty of previous and current excellent service at the present hotel we would stay elsewhere given that we have top tier rewards memberships with several corporate hotel chains as well as boutique hotels.
Installed it for some upcoming hotel stays, as soon as I opened it, it displayed an error saying the app was broken and to visit the website. Why have an app if you're just going to redirect to your website?
