I'm a long time user and i have always been able to read the page in landscape on my phone -scrolling up and down. Now it has stopped working - showing me the top of the page, but not letting me scroll down. It's clearly a glitch because when i switch to portrait and then back again, it works fine... Until the next page when the issue starts again. Please fix this. Thanks
I use this about 1-3 hours a weekday during a long train commute to and from work. I don't know what I would do without it. DC needs to get on board with this business model. 3/21/17 update. Latest update causes every few pages to be unscrollable in full page. Have to switch to smart panel to view content. Pls fix, bumped down 2 stars.
Edited - I initially rated low, because the app was constantly making me sign back in. However, this seems to have gone away recently. Whether it was an update, or server-side settings, THANK YOU. The experience is now 10x better. I still wish the app would cache more of a book though, or even just cache the whole book once a user starts reading it. Whenever I am outside/on train/etc. with variable data coverage, it frequently fails to load new pages mid-book. Aside from that, though, the experience is now great, including smart panel, "read next", and "other books in this event".
Seems each update for me breaks the comic I was reading, and it no longer loads. Meaning having to reinstall the app. It's great that there's 20,000 comics, but the app does have problems unfortunately. Such as; the Creators deserve to be listed in the tabs... and character search is problematic. Ie: in 20,000 comic Angel only appears in 14 comics?
Not a fan of the new version, they keep riding issues but new ones appear. Now the scrolling stops occasionally meaning i have to reopen the comic to see the bottom of a page. The last good version was 2.7.4 which I was using happily till I was forced to update. However the service is still great value.
Great! Unlike comixology I can view comics without downloading them. Always an expanding library and well worth the premium cost of you read more than 15 comics a year. Only downsides are some pages don't load up on the viewer, which forces you to exit the comic and come back in or tilt the device and sometimes that will load it up. A lot of the comics do not have a nice HD resolution and come across as blurry, this is especially noticed in the panel view mode. Lastly, whoever does the panel view mode on comic issues missed the proper order and position of several panels, especially on the older issues. Overall, it's far from perfect but it's well worth it for this comic fan.
Attention! You MUST update to the latest version of the app by 4/3 to continue enjoying your Marvel Unlimited Subscription.
