About this app

Mastlens is the field documentation app built for telecom tower installation and maintenance crews. Capture GPS- and time-stamped photos at the job site, organize them with structured checklists, and turn a finished job into a professional closeout package — all from your phone, even with no signal.

Tower sites are remote and connectivity is unreliable. Mastlens is built for that: keep capturing photos and completing checklists offline, and everything syncs automatically the moment you're back in range. Nothing is lost.

KEY FEATURES

Geotagged photo capture — Every photo is automatically stamped with GPS coordinates and the time it was taken, so your documentation proves exactly what was done, where, and when.

Structured checklists — Follow standardized checklists organized into sections and fields. Crews know which photos and data each job requires and never miss a required shot.

Works offline — Capture photos and complete checklists with no connection. Everything queues securely on your device and uploads automatically when signal returns.

Map and directions — See your assigned projects sorted by distance and get turn-by-turn directions to the next site.

Closeout packages — Completed jobs become organized, downloadable closeout packages ready to hand off to clients and carriers.

Built for teams — Projects, crews, and checklist templates are managed by your company, so everyone documents work to the same standard.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Open your assigned project and checklist.
2. Capture the required geotagged photos at the site.
3. Complete the checklist fields as you go.
4. Sync — your team generates the closeout package from the captured work.

Mastlens requires an account provided by your company. To learn more or set up your team, visit https://mastlens.com.

What’s new

- Required certifications. See which credentials each crew member is missing, expiring or has let lapse - one card per person, whoever is short listed first. Tap a credential to open the certificate.

- Crew certifications on a project now flag anyone missing a required credential, and name what they are short of.

- Projects gain an "Initiated" status for a site that is set up but not yet being worked, and the Projects tab now opens on Active so finished jobs stay out of the way.
