Not the iPhone app Seriously, how hard can it be to put in the subway map? Why do I need another app for that? Count me as another disappointed iPhone converter. Keep the $2 and please, just put in the map!
Save your money!!! DO NOT PAY FIRST ON THE PROMISE OF A POSSIBLE UPDATE!!!! This developer needs to prove they are dedicated to the platform FIRST. This app is incomplete and way behind the iPhone version. It is really irritating to pay for something from a developer who doesn't bother to update the station maps (for instance, the Barclay's Center exit doesn't even exist in this app). Get free NYCMate and download the local maps in that app instead.
C'mon! Nuthin like IOS. Sad sad sad. Five years on iPhone and by far the most frequently used app. Now it's just completely off my screen and I'm no longer telling everyone who'll listen the story of the brother and sister who came up with this brilliant useful app in the early days of smartphones. I don't regret the switch to Android but I'm depressed for losing my favorite app of all times.
Devs abandoned Android app Very, very bare bones strip down of the iOS version. Considering the price of the app, I'm extremely disappointed, and promised upgrades have never come. The devs ask for positive reviews so they can “invest more" in the app, but why would anyone inflate the app rating when it's just not that good? Update: still waiting on promised updates to the app that were supposed to roll out “in a few weeks" many months ago.Cleary the devs just don't care about Android or its users. DON'T BUY THIS APP!
Pretty sad app I just bought the android version this morning & uninstalled it an hour later. I did not realize we android users were once again the poor step children cowering in the shadows of the golden ichildren. :( Are there plans to upgrade the android version to the full blown app? If so, is there a target date. If not - very disappointing. I actually repurchased it to leave a review as the support email address was returned undeliverable. I will now re delete this very sad app.
It's back! One of my fave apps of the past is now updated and compatible with Jellybean 4.2. Essential for commuters.
-New app icon!
-We've made it faster to select the right station in the list (we now remember the spot the list was left in)
-Fixed the crash on the 1 line, the crash upon device rotation, and a few more
-Station updates (more soon!)
Please leave us a nice review so we can continue to invest more in the product.
Next Exit - like a swiss army knife for interstate travelers. A very useful app.
