I love this app, but am having trouble running it on my new device. The whole app shows up as only 11MB, but I know it is actually much bigger. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times with the same result. Every time I tap on a loop it tries to download the loop instead of just playing it. Some loops will download, others won't. I would happily buy the app again, but once you buy it you seem to only have the option of reinstalling it. Do you have any suggestions? This is a fantastic app that I use in my practice every day and I really want to get it up and running again! Thanks Mauro.
It's helpful in some senses, but there's not an amazing variety of genres (eg. Metal, punk, etc). It would be a lot more helpful if there were also tabs with the beats. Since I'm not a super experienced drummer, it's a lot easier to play if those were there as well as the loops. Also there's a lot of other apps out there with the same idea but better presented... Good idea, but it needs some improvements for a better review.
It sounds great, but hard to use the free version. You have to erase one just to download another. Unless you pay. BOOOOOO!!! I will probably buy it, though. Its cool. The bpm adjustment makes it very useful.
I just installed it, looks promising, but I wish they had an option to switch on metronome, or atleast play one with a different tone so that I can stay in the structure when I get lost
Had a rare opportunity to see the great Mauro Batisti in the spring of 2017 in Nepal. Not only did he give some great workshops, he also delivered some of the most staggering series of performances I have ever seen, culminating in the International Jazz Day. I'm having a swell time with Drumgenius. Recommended for every single musician regardless of their credentials.
Really good to play along with. I'd get it again. I would like more variety of grooves with odd meters plus the option to slow a lot of things down WAY more.
