Perfectly minimalistic This app has achieved exactly what it set out to. The simplistic interface is just what I wanted. I don't need an app that adds sounds, photos, or even colors to my notes, I just need an Android version of the classic Windows Notepad. And finally someone has done it. Three cheers!
Very simple. Simple is good. I like that it isn't trying to be too many things. That said, add-ons to extend it IF a user needs it would be a great way to maintain the simplicity while offering more. Code coloring and file extension recognition that would connect people to an add-on for the language they're using is what comes to mind in that regard. Cheers on a good app!
Small & Fast It's small and fast (in app world, that's a good thing). The few things its capable of are the most important ones. Now I can easily backup my phone memos or even transfer them to my computer.
Horrible Breaks swipe text entry for some reason. Not going to thumb type for your broken editor.
Nice App The app worked completely fine for me. I liked it for one reason, "smaller size", and the ability to change the colors of FG and BG.
Ok but a couple of problems I downloaded it today. It seems fairly straightforward and generally ok. But I found two significant problems. First, when I went to SAVE AS, I thought I'd try to tap on the name of the existing file name but edit it with a version number. Nope, the moment you click on out: Boom! Over-written! Oh, and I even tapped the wrong file and I LOST IT. Today's to do list? Gone! Also, I use Swype as my keypad and surprisingly it doesn't really work with this program.
