Poweramp is a powerful music player for Android.

Poweramp v3 is a major update focused on the new Audio engine, UI, and navigation.

A. Yes.

Q. How do I disable visualization?
A. It's disabled by default, can be enabled/disabled by first left button right under cover or in Settings / Visualizations.

Q. Seekbar? Titles on cover? Other UI tweaks?
A. Please use settings / Look and feel / Skin and set built-in skin options as needed.

Q. My songs are missing from folders/library/playlists.
A. Please ensure you have all your folders with music actually checked in Poweramp settings/ Library / Music Folders.

Q. Amplified basses are distorted over Bluetooth.

Ratings and reviews

Excellent player and I love that there are settings that allow me to bypass the home/lockscreens and use it as if it's the OS on my Hiby R6 gen 1 DAP. However, it only responds to button presses on the device's physical transport buttons if the screen is on and it's the active app - no such issues with the volume buttons. Would also love it if it could write lyrics into a song's metadata or an lrc file instead of simply opening a third-party app.

No major issues. Only thing I dislike is when I hit shuffle all songs, I can't see the songs that will be playing next. It's why I removed my old player - they removed that feature. See I ride with a few people a lot and they like me to hook up to the aux and hit shuffle, but I've learned what music they all hate, so I would just hop into the shuffled queue and remove those songs ahead of time. My music actually sounds better with this app, so hopefully that could be added.

This music player is great. Fluid, responsive, and I like the UI, but one thing bothers me: YOU CAN'T CHANGE INDIVIDUAL SONGS' ALBUM ART. If you change the art of the song, the ENTIRE ALBUM'S songs will convert to the album art you chose for only 1 song. Please change this or at least make a setting for this because I want certain songs in one album to have different artwork from each other.
