With death of Google music player I've been looking for an offline music player that works in my car and that I can also cast to speakers at home. This fits the bill perfectly. I like the customisation of the UI, which makes things simpler for in the car. My only quibbles are that it doesn't work with Google Home voice commands, and that I can't change the colour of the cast icon (often difficult to see on light backgrounds).

Used to work fine, but lately I've been having a lot of problems with it applying the wrong artwork to albums. It will apply a completely random image file from my music folder to new albums. When I try to change the artwork, it will only change for the player interface and not the library. Only solution is to delete the albums from storage and start all over again. This problem will occur even with embedded artwork.

At last! Having recently tried to find a music player for Android phone that will play my playlists in the order I want, I finally found Poweramp. No matter what else it can do - and it looks like a lot - it will play tracks in my local playlists in the order I want. That is all I care about for now. 6 months on and still an excellent player. I won't be looking elsewhere any more. Great stuff.
