Used to work fine, but lately I've been having a lot of problems with it applying the wrong artwork to albums. It will apply a completely random image file from my music folder to new albums. When I try to change the artwork, it will only change for the player interface and not the library. Only solution is to delete the albums from storage and start all over again. This problem will occur even with embedded artwork.

After having rubbish performance with the Oppo music app on my phone I was looking out for an alternative and found this one. Perfect for my needs as it found all the music on my phone (unlike the Oppo player!). Have seen others hate the UI but I love it! The customisation is great and the ability to download new album art within the app is great! One thing I would like to see is the ability to select a number of tracks at a time and have the ability to edit the genres on the ones selected.

I used to use a USB drive containing my music in the car, but found it frustrating that I could not combine the car's music player with navigation on the same screen in Android Auto. Copying my music to my phone and using Poweramp as the player enables me to combine the two perfectly. I had a small issue initially so e-mailed Poweramp and received a quick response which answered my question in full. Enjoyed a long drive today - very satisfied with Poweramp.
