How do I get started?
- Maybank customers:
(i) With M2U ID - simply log in with your M2U ID and all your M2U settings will be automatically synced with the MAE app.
(ii) Without M2U ID - register for one online on the Maybank2u website.
- Non-Maybank customers: skip the queue at the branch and sign up instantly with just your phone to enjoy all the benefits of a Maybank customer.

The MAE app will seek permission for the following:
i. Access to your camera to enable you to scan QR code and also upload documents when you apply for a new product or service.
ii. Access to your contact directory to give you the convenience of selecting your contacts when you make a transaction to a mobile number.
iii. Access to your location to offer you the most relevant food listings, marketing promotions or deals by our merchant partners while you are on the go.
iv. Access to your phone’s audio to enable you to make a direct call to the bank's hotline.
v. Access to your settings to enable push notifications to receive Secure2u alerts.

This app shows a wrong balance for my FD accounts. I nearly got a heart attack because it shows that some money is missing. Some of my accounts are not listed. I contacted the bank and they confirmed that all my money are still there. Told to delete and reinstall the MAE app. Same problem. My total deposit balance is still short. Something wrong with this app. Please fix it quickly.

Recently my card got blocked by pressing my password mistake then I trusted the app but in the app my most transaction gets unsuccessful/failed. I tried several attempts but its fails many time. Now I'm out of cash. Please arrange something that we can activate our cards through the app that will be more convenient for us. For new debit card or anything else we are required to visit bank with original passport that every foreigners don't have with us. The company keeps it. please help !!

for the past 1 month plus I have problem getting into MAE. it just gets stuck at the 1st yellow screen. I've been using maybank website to do my banking tasks but I will have the same problem when it comes to getting secure2u coz I won't be able to get in. hope this issue will be fixed ASAP. I have uninstalled n cleared cache many times still dont work. sometimes maybe 1/10 I can get in. in the end I have to use other bank apps.
