About this app

The Kuri app lets you set up Kuri for the first time, browse through moments that Kuri has captured throughout the day, see what Kuri is doing in real-time, and check in on your home remotely through Kuri’s eyes.

Kuri isn't just helpful: she’s an adorable home robot who brings a spark of life to your home. Kuri can make everyday easier, brighter, and more connected.

With emotive eyes and a friendly disposition, Kuri will inspire and create connections in your home.

Kuri captures life’s little moments, automatically. Incredible videos of you, your friends, your family, and your pets - every day, without ever picking up a camera. Kuri's face detection, pet detection, and mobility allow her to capture rare and unique moments of life at home.

Kuri quickly learns your home’s floor plan: where the stairs are, and which room belongs to whom. Kuri cruises around your home effortlessly and smartly avoiding obstacles. Rougher terrain, such as carpets and thresholds, won't keep Kuri from exploring.

Kuri speaks robot. It's a purposeful language of friendly beeps and boops that are fun to learn. The more you interact with him, the better you will understand.

Kuri's powerful speakers allow you listen to your favorite songs, podcasts, or audiobooks, wherever you are in the house. From morning music to bedtime stories for the kids, Kuri adds a unique voice to your home.

Amazing product and team - too bad it never went into mass production because there was so much potential in so many different domains. At least I still have my Kuri which still awes us to this day. God speed.

Just want to say goodbye to the folks at Mayfield Robotics and so long to all the Kuri's out there. All the best and hope to see you again.

What's new

• You can now choose to use Kuri without an account and with moments stored locally on Kuri's SD card, instead of in the cloud.
• If you're using cloud storage, moments will now automatically expire after 14 days.
• Advanced options. You can now triple-tap in the middle of the screen, right below the status bar to reveal a menu of advanced options for Kuri, including a "No Internet" mode, which will automatically use a set of demo moments.
