For owners with model year 2019 or newer vehicles*, the Mercedes-Benz app gives you access to your vehicle from anywhere.

With the Mercedes-Benz app on your device, you have direct access to your vehicle at all times. View data like mileage, fuel level and more, find your vehicle’s location, or take action with convenient features like Remote Engine Start and Remote Lock/Unlock.

This app does have a lot of useful features, the best in my opinion being the ability to lock and unlock your vehicle remotely and see when it's unlocked. Unfortunately, the notification for your vehicle being unlocked comes 15-30m after the vehicle is unlocked. By that time thieves have already had ample time to browse through your belongings. A missing feature for this app is being able to see error codes. Why, Mercedes, wouldn't you tell me what a check engine light means in this app?
