The Ride On Real Time app does have issues. The list of available buses can be "Scheduled" or "Real Time". When a bus is "realtime" it can be off by a minute or 2. The "schedule" is well the schedule. I always click the Where's My Ride button. I find this the most relevant. It is important to refresh your screen or go back to Home page and click Where's My Ride again. Yes they need to fix software issues with the GPS tracking software.
Nearly useless app Credit to the app, it does help find the closest bus. Other than that, it's very unhelpful and unintuitive. It took several clicks to get anywhere. I could not easily see which bus went to where I needed to be (on a map). The map does not show real time where the bus is. The map has much more lag than a regular Google map. I'd suggest using Google maps to quickly find which bus to take, and only use this app to find when the next bus will arrive, if even then.
Not at all real-time. Great for schedules, sort of, but real-time arrivals are a thing of the past. On my routes (12 15 19), at least, I never see real-time arrivals, only scheduled. Interface is clunky to respond. You need to know your stop numbers... Favoriting via the search is messy. (UPDATE:) App has now completely stopped giving any predictions at all. Not even scheduled. Useless.
Useless As many others have noted, the name of this app is a lie. This does not provide real time bus arrival information like Nextbus. On top of that, it's really poorly thought out. For example, search for a route and you're presented with a map, but as far as I can tell there's no way of getting a schedule.
What's the point? I don't understand the meaning of this app ... I live in Montgomery County and ride RideOn for my commute. I finally downloaded this app today and uninstalled 1 minute later. The app didn't give me times for any route. Real Time or Scheduled.
Horrible, does not work Realtime does not work. Never pulls up schedules or real time tracking. On a galaxy s4
